Male/DSH/Black and White. SPECIAL NEEDS. DOB: 6/1/02. Neutered/House-Trained/Up-to-Date on Vaccinations. Good with some other cats. Poor Sparky was a bit sad early last year as his life was turned upside down. His elderly guardian, who was a life-long animal lover, passed away so he was (and still is) faced with finding a new FURever home. Sparky is loving and seeks out human attention. He wants to be loved SO badly. His birthday is estimated to be about xxxx, but dont count him as old, cause he has loads of spunk (check out his video). He displays plenty of curiosity and enjoys petting. Sparky, like many other cats, has his human tolerance limitations, so you sort of have to be in tune with him so you know when to just let him sit on your lap (which he can and will do for a long time). He seems very content to just sit with you without even being petted. He LOVES being brushed with his special brush, especially getting his whiskers brushed/rubbed! And it goes without saying he is magnificent to look at. He likes to think he is eye candy. As Sparky enjoys lots of personal, one-on-one attention, he would do best in a one-cat family and in a household that is relatively quiet. Also a home where his human companion is home a fair amount; he gets lonely easily. He is really hoping there is someone out there to make his life whole again. Everyone at the rescue absolutely loves Sparkles and so wishes he could find just the right person to be his own. Can you help? Interested In Adopting? The adoption fee for this cat is $50, which goes toward the medical and daily care expenses for each cat. A second cat can be adopted at the same time at no extra cost (so $50 for 1 or 2 cats). You can visit adoptable cats and kittens at OAR, xxxx Orlando Place, Cincinnati, OH xxxx7 on Thursday from 6-8 pm or Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm. We also have adoption hosts at Oakley PetSmart, xxxx Alamo Avenue, Cincinnati, OH xxxx9 on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm. NOTE: Part of the adoption process is a face-to-face meeting. About OAR:The Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run organization. We promote non-lethal control for feral cat colonies and humane methods to reduce the population of feral cats. In particular, we practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also offer low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for cats in a full-time Humane Alliance clinic. OAR also lends humane traps and provides advice on TNR. The organization also runs a small rescue with adoptable cats and kittens.
