Male/DSH/Gray Tabby. SPECIAL NEEDS. DOB: ~5/1/xxxx. Neutered/House-Trained/Up-to-Date on Vaccinations. Good with other cats. Scooter may look like he is a grumpy old boy in this picture, but that is so NOT true of this very special guy. Everyone falls in love with him the minute they meet him. He is just SO very sweet and laid-back. Scooter was found outside an ad agency in downtown Cincinnati -- very skinny and ill. Rescued, fed a good diet, and daily nursing care have now made Scooter ready to find his furever home. Scooter does have some kidney issues which will require his new guardian to keep an eye on, but other than that he should be just fine as older kitties go. It is estimated that he may be around 14 years old. Scooter is just content to lay in a chair, on your lap, or mosey around checking things out before he takes his next nap. He is just the sweetest boy, and surely deserves a loving home where he can be happy for a change. Interested In Adopting? The adoption fee for this cat is $50, which goes toward the medical and daily care expenses for each cat. A second cat can be adopted at the same time at no extra cost (so $50 for 1 or 2 cats). You can visit adoptable cats and kittens at OAR, xxxx Orlando Place, Cincinnati, OH xxxx7 on Thursday from 6-8 pm or Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm. We also have adoption hosts at Oakley PetSmart, xxxx Alamo Avenue, Cincinnati, OH xxxx9 on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm. NOTE: Part of the adoption process is a face-to-face meeting. About OAR:The Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-run organization. We promote non-lethal control for feral cat colonies and humane methods to reduce the population of feral cats. In particular, we practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We also offer low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services for cats in a full-time Humane Alliance clinic. OAR also lends humane traps and provides advice on TNR. The organization also runs a small rescue with adoptable cats and kittens.
